Requirements

  RaceCon requires at least:
  - A computer with a 1 GHz CPU and 1 GB of RAM
  - Microsoft Windows 10 or higher and
  - .NET Framework 4.8 or higher.

You can download the required .NET Framework installer here:

Summary

  # Added a 'Powerbox Manager' button to the Tools menu which enables users to update firmware or configuration of a
PBX90 or PBX190 device, without installing PBX Suite.
  # Improved compatibility with display firmware that allows more than 12 display pages.
  # RaceCon now supports multiple DDU10 instances in the same project.
  # Improved DBC file export, for better interoperability with other tools available on the market.
  # Improved enforcement of 'Visibility' or 'Protection' security settings in the project.
  # Logger configuration: Adding channels to a recording will use hints of the firmware (PST file), to use
    a better default recording rate (e.g. nmot -> sync, ath -> 1 ms, ...).
  # Improved interoperability of logging configurations with Excel (by Copy/Paste, or Export/Import as CSV
file). Duplicates are now detected and it is possible to decide how to proceed.
  # Calibration/Measuring view:
    - Improved handling of control selections and keyboard/mouse inputs.
    - Container background color is now editable again. This feature was disabled between RaceCon v2.4 and v2.5.
(Right mouse button click on container title -> Container -> Background color)
    - Chart containers now automatically resize by double-clicking the container title bar. The container
size ensures that the whole table area is visible.
  # Macro actions:
    - 'Write cell value' now supports math operations [ = + - * / ] to manipulate a calibration value.
The operand can be applied as a constant, a percentage, or by measuring a channel in the system.
    - 'Import parameter files' is now able to handle wildcards, which allows importing a set of parameter
files at once (e.g. a whole directory, or files with a certain filename pattern).
    - 'Save WP' is now able to handle encrypted data formats, like hexv and s19v.
This is useful for users with a restricted license, who work with a prepared project and want to
      easily send or save datasets.
  # Special vehicle functionalities like laptrigger and fuel can now be configured on any Bosch
Motorsport device. This is mainly required if the ECU software is developed using CCA (Customer Code Area) and
some custom logic for the laptrigger is necessary, e.g. for rally events with multiple custom check-
points and no constant start/finish line per round.
  # Added additional hints to the DDU10 UIM (User Interface Menu) configuration sheets
  # 'Overwrite existing measurement data?' dialog now allows remembering the user's decision and avoiding
    deletion of device measurement files.

New Features

  # 21224: Re-enabled copy/paste for CAN messages in DataView

Resolved Issues

  # 21374: Fixed a crash that used to occur when migrating 2.9.0.10 exports.

  # 21225: Prevent the crash when Copy/Paste over clipboard using two different
           versions of RaceCon
