Control the time gap in linked files between incontinuous members
Cutting unnecessary long gaps in data to fixed gaps for better visualization of long time period data
If you select multiple files and open them as a linked file, WinDarab links the files together according to their timestamps:
If the timestamps of the second file are before those of the first file, WinDarab linked the files together and adjusted the timestamps to have a time gap of 10 seconds between.
In all other cases the files were linked together using their timestamps. This could create very large time gaps.
Now, we added to new settings to Tools / Settings / Program / “Files and Folders” to control the behavior for linked files:
Time gap threshold: If the gap between two files is smaller than the threshold value, the files are linked together without changing the time gap. The default value is 1 s.
Time gap: If the gap between two files is larger than the threshold, then the gap is set to this value (default: 10 seconds). The time gap is used also, if the timestamps of the second file are before the second file.
