Control the time gap in linked files between incontinuous members
- Cutting unnecessary long gaps in data to fixed gaps for better visualization of long time period data
- If you select multiple files and open them as a linked file, WinDarab links the files together according to their timestamps:
- If the timestamps of the second file are before those of the first file, WinDarab linked the files together and adjusted the timestamps to have a time gap of 10 seconds between.
- In all other cases the files were linked together using their timestamps. This could create very large time gaps.
- Now, we added to new settings to Tools / Settings / Program / “Files and Folders” to control the behavior for linked files:
- Time gap threshold: If the gap between two files is smaller than the threshold value, the files are linked together without changing the time gap.
The default value is 1 s. - Time gap: If the gap between two files is larger than the threshold, then the gap is set to this value (default: 10 seconds). The time gap is used also, if the timestamps of the second file are before the second file.
