Team Hahn Racing is one of the most successful racing teams competing in the FIA European Truck Racing Championship.

Since 2011, Bosch has been sponsoring Hahn Racing and supplying the team with a wide range of parts suitable for their racing truck – from the injection system to wiper blades. At the same time with the sponsorship, also a remarkable success story began: Jochen Hahn has to date won an incredible six European championships and has firmly secured his place in the truck motorsport hall of fame.

The team was founded by his late father Konrad Hahn in 1996, and Jochen took over the truck steering wheel in 2000, immediately becoming rookie of the year.

Truck racing is where you can experience Bosch technology under the toughest racing conditions.

FIA European Truck Racing Championship

Truck motorsport events have been taking place in Europe since the 1980s. Spectators found the events with the impressive racing heavyweights immediately appealing. The European Truck Racing Championship has been recognized by the FIA since 2006. Every year, up to 420,000 spectators gather at major European racetracks to watch professional truck racers hurtle their IVECOs, Freightliners, and MANs around the bends.

Minimum weight: 5.3 t

Racing trucks are real motorsport heavyweights. But truck racing has hardly anything in common with the overtaking duels that can sometimes be seen between two trucks on the freeway.

Power output: Ø 1,100 hp

With a torque of 5,500 Nm, the trucks accelerate their incredible weight from 60 to 160 km/h in just six seconds.

Maximum speed: 160 km/h

Truck racing is the only motorsport with a maximum speed, which is prescribed for safety reasons.
