Robert Wickens: A Racing Journey

Robert Wickens began his racing career in karting before progressing through various single-seater series, including Formula BMW, GP3, and Formula Renault 3.5, where he clinched the championship in 2011. He then competed in the DTM series and made a significant impact in his rookie IndyCar season in 2018. Following his accident, Robert demonstrated remarkable determination, returning to racing in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge and securing the TCR championship in 2023. In 2025, he continues his journey in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship with DXDT Racing.

Looking Ahead: The 2025 Season

Robert is set to compete in five sprint races of the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Driving the No. 36 DXDT Racing Corvette Z06 GT3.R, he continues to break barriers and inspire fans worldwide with his unwavering spirit and competitive drive.

His confirmed race schedule includes:

  • April 11–12: Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach – Long Beach, CA
  • May 9–11: Monterey SportsCar Championship – WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, CA
  • July 11–13: Chevrolet Grand Prix – Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, ON
  • August 1–3: IMSA SportsCar Weekend – Road America, WI
  • August 22–24: Michelin GT Challenge – VIRginia International Raceway, VA
